Tanya C. Durst

Tanya C. Durst is an associate of the regional tax law firm Comiter, Singer, Baseman & Braun, LLP. Tanya received her undergraduate degree in International Studies and a minor in Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Florida in 2014. She earned her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2017. She then earned her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2018.
At Vanderbilt University Law School, Tanya earned a Law and Business Certificate and made the Dean’s List (Top 20%) during her second and third year. She also served as a Research Assistant to Professor Jeffrey A. Schoenblum.
During her time in the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Florida, Tanya served as a Research Assistant to Professor Yariv Brauner. She received a book award for Income Taxation of Estates & Trusts, taught by Professor Dennis Calfee.
The focus of Tanya’s practice is income and estate tax planning; business transactions; and federal taxation of partnerships, s-corporations, and limited liability companies.
